Working with children has always been a great source of inspiration for me. From tutoring small groups of students learning French to leading a full class through some fun Theater exercises, I have been enjoying working with them for the last 14 years. I am a native French-Canadian and I grew up in the French-speaking city of Montréal. I have graduated from the Arts and Letters program offered at the Theatre School of St-Hyacinthe, in Québec, Canada.

My intention with this French course is to introduce the kids to a new language and make them curious and eager to learn more. I will do that by creating a fun and safe learning environment and by opting for more creative teaching methods such as learning songs, playing games (in French of course!), acting out skits, doing art projects, making a short video, etc.

In addition to learning the language, the students will also learn the history of the language, its origin, how it has evolved through the years, and the different countries where it is spoken.

In order to keep the parents informed of the progress their kids are making, we will, as a class, put on small presentations throughout the year and share what we have learned!
