Education Française Los Angeles (EFLA-FLAM) is a not-for-profit association (501c3), whose mission is to offer quality and affordable, after-school French lessons to children 4-18 in the Southern California community.

At EFLA-FLAM, we welcome all students who are eager to learn French and have already been introduced to the French language.

Our classes for francophones welcome students who have French-speaking parents from any French-speaking community around the world, such as France, Belgium, Congo, Canada, Vietnam, etc.

We are our own little Francophonie and we gain from sharing our cultural differences, stories and unique expressions with each other.

Our program offers the following benefits:

• High quality tutoring performed by French teachers who are sensitive to the teaching nuances between France and America.
• Small classes of no more than 10 children, all paired based on their age, level and knowledge of French.
• Fun and creative environment: Children are happy to come to class, make new friends and see that it is “cool” to speak French because others like them do too.
• Affordable rates: We are a not-for-profit and are recipients of a grant from the French government through the FLAM program (Français LAngue Maternelle – French As Native Language) under the auspices of AEFE (Agence Française pour l’Enseignement à l’Etranger).
